Document this project on your blog, including what your initial thoughts were, any difficulties you faced and photographs of the work. Feel free to experiment, but your project should include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>At least one button press<\/li><li>At least two LEDs attached to the breadboard<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Possible ideas include light alarm systems, &#8216;simon says&#8217; type games, and anything you can come up with! We will start class on Tuesday, September 21st by presenting&nbsp;&nbsp;<em><strong>all<\/strong><\/em>&nbsp;of these short projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Assignment 2: First micro-bit project (due Feb 8th)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bboldwestbury.sln.suny.edu\/webapps\/blackboard\/content\/listContentEditable.jsp?content_id=_766171_1&amp;course_id=_273287_1&amp;mode=reset#contextMenu\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/bboldwestbury.sln.suny.edu\/webapps\/blackboard\/content\/listContentEditable.jsp?content_id=_766171_1&amp;course_id=_273287_1&amp;mode=reset#\"><\/a>Taking what we learned in class about the basics of coding and uploading a program to the micro:bit, create your first micro:bit project and document it on your blog, including what your initial thoughts were and any difficulties you faced. Feel free to experiment, but your project should include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>A short animation<\/li><li>A scrolling word<\/li><li>Optional, but encouraged to try a button press<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We will start class on Tuesday (Feb 8th) by presenting these short projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Assignment 1: Blog and Creative Tech (due Feb 1st.)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Creating your Blog: Using wix or wordpress, create a website to post all of your creative coding assignments. If you already have a blog\/website, create a separate section specifically for Creative Coding alone. Submit the resulting link to blackboard so that I may copy it to the student blog section of this website (you should also feel free to e-mail it to me). See the video on blackboard for help in this process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As your first post on the blog, find an example of an art project that uses technology or computers online and answer the following questions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>How do you think the project was made?<\/li><li>How many people do you think were involved with the project?<\/li><li>How much time do you think it took to put together?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Include a link to the project on your post.
